The BYU University Photographer’s office was established in 1976 to serve the photographic needs of the BYU community. As part of the Department of University Communications we work to supply local, national and international media with images that communicate the BYU message. We also work with departments on campus to photograph events, campus scenics, brochures, portraits, sporting events and several other special projects.

Our office also maintains a photographic archive of university images and stock photography from 1970 to the present. If you are an active member of the BYU campus community, you have access to photos specifically for campus use. You can access them by logging in with your NetID and password. Otherwise, please contact us if you are interested in using a photo from our archive.

Contact us anytime at 801-422-7322 or photo@byu.edu.
